Our Vision

Who We Are
As an online art gallery and artist services business in South Carolina marketing for professional and non-professional artists, the Mike Hopkins Center for Arts and Crafts offers virtual gallery space and a variety of services, that are supplied for an hourly fee. These services consist of labeling, price sheet, art biography, grant writing, press release, social media post, and website creation. Depending on the curator ‘s schedule, artists may get to meet the curator during group exhibitions. The Mike Hopkins Center for Arts and Crafts will have exhibitions at the Union County Arts Council in the near future. Our staff consists of only me. The center is financially supported by art sales and the owner’s own money.
Our Location and Community History
Founded in December 2023 and published in July 2023, the Mike Hopkins Center for Arts and Crafts continues to be dedicated to assisting artists with becoming successful. The center is located in Union County, a small town near Spartanburg, South Carolina. Our center assists with enhancing Union’s art scene.
Our center is also 1hr 50mins away from Greenville, 34mins away from Spartanburg, and 1hr 15mins away from Columbia, placing it in a prime location to offer museum-quality exhibitions, artistic events, and artist services to Union, Spartanburg, Greenville, and Columbia-area residents, students, and visitors.
We wanted to added another sophisticated environment for the display of contemporary art to Union in addition to being a business which services artists can use to achieve their career goals.
We started this home-based business for a dire. We wanted Union County, our small town, to have more of an art scene in which we hope will be similar to the New York art scene. In addition, we want artists to have virtual and physical exhibition space and be able to meet and share their ideas with each other and create contemporary art together in the upstate and Columbia. If it is not contemporary art, we still welcome every artist’s work in our virtual gallery, rental galleries, and eventually our own physical gallery.
